Circle Survey Finds Twice As Many Men Invest in Cryptocurrencies As Women
One of the four millenniums is interested in investing in cryptocurrencies next year, a new survey said.
Crypto payments startup Circle surveyed more than 3,000 people earlier this week, confirming that the vast majority of Millennial believe they are "aggressive" investors in the technology. Members of other demographics, including Generation X and Baby Boomers, also voted.
The billing platform supported by Goldman Sachs used Survey Monkey to collect the results, but only posted responses from users identified as "aggressive investors."
Notably, the results found that nearly twice as many men invest in cryptocurrencies when compared to women. 42% of the male millenium generations, 34% of the male generations identified in Generation X, and 16% of the baby boomer generation surveyed asset classes such as crypto currency, resulting in 27% of Millennium women, 19% of Generation X women, % The boomers.
Separately, and of course, the survey found that as investors get older, the proportion of "aggressive" investors falls from 65 percent of the millennium to 25 percent of the baby boomers.
The insight that a woman is a prime in the crypto space is not new. EToro, a social trading platform, released a report in May that found that only 8.5% of all users were female. As of March, the company has more than 9 million people.
