Crypto Exchange Gemini to List Bitcoin Cash With NYDFS Approval
Winklevoss-owned Gemini Encryption Exchange announced on Friday that it would add support for bitchin cash (BCH).
New York-based startups, in particular, support bitcoin cash fork based on the Bitcoin ABC roadmap and are not "Satoshi & # 39; s Vision" (SV). The difference arises last month after a controversial hard fork is split into two different competing blocks with different tokens in the bitcoin cash network.
The exchange has added regeneration protection to ensure that transactions are valid only on one network, said Eric Winer, vice president of engineering.
"The decryption we send to twins through block chains that we do not support, like Bitcoin SV (BSV), is invalid and can not be recovered," he added.
"We will continue to evaluate Bitcoin SV over the next few weeks or months and may choose to support Bitcoin SV withdrawals and / or transactions in the future."
Gemini has allowed the Exchange to provide transactional and parenting services to its customers in the state, with the approval of the New York State Financial Services Authority (NYDFS) listing the cash coin. The FDA has not yet made any announcement about the approval of the journalist.
Starting Saturday at 14:30 UTC, customers can start trading support on Monday at the beginning of the UTC and deposit current funds into their accounts. At the start of this exchange the exchange is offering a pair of BCH deals in US dollars, bit coins, ether, litecoin and zcash.
It joined many other exchanges that listed bitcoin cash ABC as bitcoin cash, including Kraken and Coinbase, and Poloniex still joined ABC and SV as separate coins .
Gemini announced the addition of bitcoin cash in March before hard fork. The founders Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss mentioned potentially additional litecoin. The latter coin was officially listed in October.
