Honeyminer Signs Up 50K Users for Easy Crypto Mining App
Honeyminer is rapidly becoming a popular cryptographic mining app that allows users to get bit coins from their laptops.
The startup base of this startup, which was exclusively released to startup CoinDesk, has grown to nearly 50,000 since its launch in June. One-third of new customers are located in emerging markets and 5% are hail in Africa, the company said.
In the startup telegraph channel, a Kenyan user responded to a survey that used Honeyminer to acquire the first Bitco hidden.
“I was interested in bit coin, crypto calls and block chains, but I never understood what it meant,” wrote Nairobi’s Steven. “I am trying to raise money to buy a more powerful gaming desktop in the future that can make an average of $ 3 to $ 4 a day.
Noah Jessop, co-founder of another developing country with thousands of users who are flocking to download Honeyminer, including India, Indonesia and the Philippines, told CoinDesk.
“We’ve found something much bigger and more international than we imagined.”
According to Larry Kom, co-founder of Honeyminer, this flood proved that mining pool software can work on computers with 1,100 types of graphics processing unit (GPU) cards. Honeyminer converts the mine compensation from the GPU-based passwords, such as ether and zcash, to bit coin and then stores it directly in the user’s digital wallet.
Kom found that CoinDesk’s diversity of user-provided insights into the various hardware types of GPU mining was very important. Jessop said he was inspired by a variety of new miners.
Jessop said, “I was hit hard by people trying to get gear.” We are approaching 10,000 people running a hand-made excavator or even an industrial excavator. ”
